Terms & Conditions

The Think Gita team will make every reasonable effort to ensure its events are run in safe environments. Whilst we ensure our activities are as safe as possible, we also rely on participants to abide by the below terms and conditions to make this event a success.

A. Photos and Publicity

  • Photographs and films will be taken throughout each Event by Think Gita and/or its contractors and/or its agents. All Think Gita Participants consent to all and any use in any current or future media by Think Gita and/or its group companies of any photographs, images and/or films in which they feature.

  • Photographs of children will not be used in this manner without express written consent unless the images are incidental, for example, children’s images at the start line within the crowd.

  • All Think Gita Participants acknowledge and agree that no payment will be made to any Think Gita Participant for the use of any photographs, images or films in which they may feature.

B. Registration and Payment instructions

  • All Ticket sales are final.

  • No refunds will be issued from organizers for ticket price or fees charged by the ticketing platform.

  • Tickets are strictly on a first come first serve basis due to limited site capacity.

  • Core Management committee decision will be final on ticket and event organisation and in case of any disputes.

  • All ticket sales via ticket link in the event communications.

C. Safeguarding

  • All children under the age of 16 are to be accompanied by an adult throughout the event. Please do not leave your child at the event without parental/adult supervision.

  • Children must be supervised at all times by their Parents / Guardians.

D. Data Protection

  • Each Think Gita Participant agrees that information provided to Think Gita in connection with Events may be used by Think Gita in accordance with prevailing data protection legislation.

  • Think Gita will use the information provided by Think Gita Participants to register applicants for Events, process registrations applications and manage the Think Gita Participant’s involvement in the Event. Think Gita will keep the Think Gita Participant up to date with Think Gita activities or provide any other information in accordance with their stated preferences.

E. Insurance

Think Gita does not provide any insurance, whether life or medical or liability, for any illness, accident, injury, death, loss or damage that may arise in connection with the attendance at and/or participation in the Event. Participants shall be responsible for arranging their own suitable and adequate insurance protection to cover their participation in the Event, including without limitation cover:

  • for material loss/damage to any equipment they may use in the Event or personal property (including clothing);

  • any loss or damage they may cause to a third party;

  • sickness;

  • negligence of any party

Think Gita Organisers reserve the right to ask participants to leave the event without refund if they are found repeatedly not following these Terms & Conditions.

Waiver of Liability and Indemnification

In consideration of being allowed to participate in this event, I and on behalf of my personal representatives, heirs, next of kin, successors and assigns, hereby forever;

Waives, releases, and discharges Think Gita, its Trustees, officers, and contractors, the providers of any equipment used in the Activity, landowners, governmental providers of use permits, and their respective employees, officers, and directors ( Herein “the Released Parties”) FROM ALL LIABILITIES, CAUSES OF ACTION, CLAIMS AND DEMANDS that arise in any way from any injury, death, loss or harm that occur to me or to any other person or to any property during the Activity or in any way related to the Activity, including during transportation to or from the Activity. This RELEASE includes claims for the negligence of the Released Parties and claims for strict liability for abnormally dangerous activities. This RELEASE does not extend to claims for gross negligence, intentional or reckless misconduct, or any other liabilities that UK law does not permit to be excluded by agreement.

As part of the registration process, we collect mobile phone numbers, email address and home address to use in case of last-minute event changes/cancellations and to pass out key information about our events.

During the event various filming, photography and broadcasting may take place. By your presence at this event, you grant your permission for your likeness and voice to be included in pictures and / or on film, and their advertising without compensation or credit.
